Songwriting
Luke tries his best to create music that is honest in it's lyrics, tasteful in it's arrangement, and fun and/or touching lyrically. While some songs are goofy and some are sincere all of them have the intention of connecting with the listener on a personal level. While some of the lines are born out of personal experience, he hopes that the overall messages and intentions are universal.
...and if that's not a pretentious paragraph, I don't know what is.
